Confirmed Release Date

Messhof released Blood Dungeon on August 25, 2026. The game is no longer in a pre-release window.

Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 listings all support the same date. That agreement matters because some media metadata may use a different day across time zones. This page uses the first-party storefront date as the stable release-date answer and does not invent a precise global unlock hour.

Demo Availability

The Steam page still displayed a downloadable Blood Dungeon demo when checked on August 30, 2026. Demo availability can change, so players should use the official Steam page rather than third-party download mirrors.

The demo and full game should not be treated as the same content package. The full release advertises nine characters, six arenas, daily dungeons, and more than 100 enemies, quests, weapons, and upgrades.

Demo and Full Release

The official Steam Demo entry describes one level, two characters, limited weapons, and says demo saves transfer to the full game. The full Steam store still displayed Demo Available after launch during the official source check. That supports a narrow, useful answer: the demo was not automatically removed when the complete game released.

The two demo characters, the exact level name, the precise weapon pool, daily-dungeon coverage, and all balance differences are TBD. Save transfer is confirmed for the Steam demo and full game; it is not proof of cross-platform save transfer. Keeping that platform boundary visible prevents a player from assuming a store feature that no source states.

Post-Launch Status

Steam Community posts on August 26 included hotfix notes covering issues such as a memory leak, leaderboards, daily runs, and saves. Messhof had not published a semantic version number in the checked announcements, so this site does not invent a v1.x label.

The launch status is best described as released and subject to post-launch updates. A hotfix title is not a semantic version number, and a fan wiki should not manufacture one for a screenshot or search snippet. Check Steam’s current update area and the Messhof game page for the newest first-party wording.

Release Facts Still Unresolved

No exact global unlock time, future-platform date, or demo-removal date was confirmed by the materials used here. Those are genuine pending fields, not blanks to fill with retailer speculation. The visible pending card is designed so a future official announcement can update a number or date without creating a thin duplicate page.

For which store has the game today, see Blood Dungeon Platforms and Availability. For the original launch video, use the official embedded trailer above. This independent fan guide cites Messhof and first-party stores and does not represent the developer or any platform holder.

Why the Store-by-Store Date Matters

The release-date answer is anchored in first-party pages because product listings are the authoritative place to confirm a platform’s own status. Steam supports Windows and macOS; PlayStation supports PS5; Xbox supports Series X|S; Nintendo has separate Switch and Switch 2 entries. Using the matching store pages avoids a common launch-week error: taking one regional media timestamp and applying it to every platform.

The date agreement does not reveal the exact moment a user in every time zone could first press play. Until an official source publishes a global launch schedule, that hour is TBD. A precise-looking countdown without a first-party time is worse than a visible pending card because it appears actionable while being unsupported.

Checking the Demo Safely

Use the official Steam full-game page or the dedicated demo entry to confirm whether a download button is present at the time you visit. Do not use third-party download mirrors, and do not turn an older screenshot into proof that the demo remains available forever. The P0 source establishes its observed post-launch availability and the small demo scope, not a promise about future storefront changes.

The demo’s save-transfer statement is limited to Steam’s demo and full game. It should not be extended to console saves, cloud saves across all platforms, or an unlimited migration rule. When a fact belongs to one storefront, this guide keeps that storefront label attached to the sentence.
